sebmotors.info | Setting off!
There it is. After quite some time of work and preparation, sebmotors.info is leaving the clutch at the right time and getting a good getaway. Let's take a better look at the content of the three championships and all the content that is going to be included in the blog!
Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine: this a fresh new start for them, too! For 2021 they have merged with the Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, meaning that now there will be only one championship and the available roster is also looking fresh and new indeed! The Swede Ferrari Academy's Dino Beganovic hopes to keep high hopes in Maranello after a strong season in the Italian F4, but the Barbadian Zane Maloney and the just announced young Dutch Thomas ten Brinke are not going to make it easy for him. Barrichello is in as well! Is not Rubens, but it's Eduardo "Dudu". His 19 years old son is joining the series after a solid campaign in the U.S. F2000 National Championship.
Euroformula Open: now at its 21st year, there is some joy in the environment as their 2019 racer Yuki Tsunoda has now made it to the pinnacle of motorsport in just two years' time. With some doubts on the drivers' list still, they will be the fist guys to run on track as they begin Testing on March the 18th in Montmeló (Spain). Its calendar looks exciting: it starts in Portimão (Portugal) and then it will be heading also to Spa (Belgium) and Imola (Italy) among all those nice tracks, but there is still uncertainty regarding its Season Finale, yet to be confirmed.
British Formula 3 Championship: uncertainty here is amplified as the pandemic is not making it easy for the UK but as it stands on January the 20th the calendar has been modified. The season will be starting with the Brands GP on May the 22nd, with the Oulton Park round now being moved to September the 12th and Donington's second round now on October the 17th and the Snetterton 300 now on August the 8th. The waiting won't be as painful as we will have a sim racing series in February starting in Brands Hatch! That Mansell name has nothing to do with the good Nigel... the Australian Christian Mansell gets to F3 with an F4 victory in the bag and in great company with the Brits Zak O'Sullivan (runner-up in Britsh F4) and Frederick Lubin (one of the best rookies in the same championship last year).
February is going to be cold. And this blog can't do really nothing about that. But by keeping an eye on the Formula 3 Asian Championship, the British F3 iRacing (and of course, all the drivers' moves) we will try to make it somewhat warmer for you all. Also please do keep an eye on the "other" section of the blog as good content on other stuff might come up there as well!
Thank you in advance! I can't wait to see where this journey will bring us together and this is just the start.
