FRECA | Preview: Waltz of Seats Before Spa-Francorchamps
As British Formula 3 is meeting up with FRECA for the first time, of course FRECA is also meeting up British F3 the other way round for the first time in Spa-Francorchamps… Many drivers have changed teams since the last time out in Zandvoort one month ago.

Last time in Zandvoort, Netherlands, we saw both MP Motorsport’s Franco Colapinto (ARG) and Van Amersfoort’s Francesco Pizzi (ITA) making good progress and getting closer to the top. The Argentinian was the only one who could match the pace of the dominating ART’s Grégoire Saucy (SWI), with the latter one set to be the main title prospect for this year. While the Italian got for the first times into the top-5 this season. Encouraging results, considering that he was really competitive last year in Italian Formula 4 where he finished P2 behind his compatriot ART’s Gabriele Minì (ITA). The updated standings are reported here.
Zandvoort Review from FRECA's YouTube Channel
The on-track action for Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine has already started with collective tests on Wednesday. Saucy is again on top. G4’s Michael Belov (RUS) in P2 confirmed once more the great form he showed after joining later in the year (at Le Castellet). Good improvements also for Monolite’s Pietro Delli Guanti (ITA) and JD’s Eduardo Barrichello (BR), rounding out the top 15:

This is what Barrichello had to say about testing: "What a beast track! We did good progress and we are each time closer [to the top]. Tomorrow there will be no on-track action, so it will be a day for analysis and getting ready the best we possibily can for Free Practice on Friday."

Moving onto the proper waltz… There is going to be a great reshuffle in this weekend’s entry list: it all started from Thomas ten Brinke (NE) suddenly interrupting his racing career while he was racing at ART. Patrik Pasma (FIN) will therefore move from KIC Motorsport to ART in order to replace the Dutch. Ergo Jasin Ferati (SWI) will move from Monolite to KIC. As previously reported here, Dexter Patterson (UK) will move from British F3 to Monolite, and this whole story comes full circle. In addition to these, FIA F3 driver Ido Cohen (ISR) will join JD Motorsport and DR Formula’s Brad Benavides (US) will leave the team and try to comeback to racing action next year.
