The two days of testing started with two driver announcements. The Mexican FIA F3 driver Rafael Villagomez is set to race for Van Amersfoort while the British Josh Mason will race for Kimi Räikkönen's owned team Double R Racing.
Two US drivers - both from Team Motopark - led the pack: the first one was Cameron Das, which put throughout the two days a fantastic consistency, always being in the lead pack, and pulled a three tenths gap over Jak Crawford. The fastest rookie of testing will actually turn 16 years old during his Euroformula Open debut at the Grande Prémio de Portugal on May 2nd.
